Longreach State School has three distinct teaching areas that operate within the school. Our Early Years Team works cooperatively develop strong foundations of learning in a caring environment, for students in Prep to Year 3. Our Middle Years Team is dedicated to providing an education that is suited to the needs of students in Years 4-7. Additional specialist services are provided in conjunction with these areas:

Curriculum specialists in the areas of Music, Health and Physical Education, French, Library, Technology-Design, and Technology-Food.

Learning Support for students with intervention or extension needs. This incorporates in-class and focus-group delivery.

Special Education for students with disabilities, whether it be individualised programmes that are parallel to, or cooperative with classroom lessons.
